What exactly is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to save on your device. Next time you visit, your browser sends it back, so the site can recognise that device. Cookies can keep you signed in, remember a language or measure visits.
Similar tools work in much the same way, including local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. On this page, "cookies" includes those as well.
Does campingtents.it.com set any cookies?
Our own pages don't set cookies. The Site has no sign-in, shopping basket, analytics tools, advertising tags or social media plug-ins, and our script doesn't write to local storage or session storage. All fonts, images, video and scripts come from our own server and not from third-party networks.
That's why the Site has no cookie banner: there are no optional cookies for you to accept or reject.
Could anything else place a cookie while I browse?
Some web hosts and security services automatically add a strictly necessary cookie to protect a site from attacks or to spread traffic across servers. If our hosting setup ever does this, the cookie is only used for security and delivery. It isn't used to follow you across the web or build an advertising profile.
If you click a link in your own email program, or come to us from a search engine, those services may use their own cookies under their own policies.

You control cookies through your browser settings, so you can block them or delete saved ones at any time:

- Safari (Mac): Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Safari (iPhone/iPad): Settings app → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Because our pages don't rely on cookies, the Site works the same when you block them.
What about "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals?
We don't track visitors across websites, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser doesn't change how the Site behaves. Your browsing here is already handled as if those signals were on.
Will this cookie policy change?
If we add a feature that uses cookies, such as a sign-in area, we'll update this page before the feature goes live. We'll also say which cookies are used and ask for consent where the law requires it. The revision date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
