Agreeing to these terms

  1. 1.1By opening, browsing or otherwise using the Site, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Site.
  2. 1.2You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use the Site on behalf of a club, school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

What the Site is for

  1. 2.1The Site presents camping tents and general camping information. Everything on it is for general information only and is not a binding offer to sell.
  2. 2.2Tent descriptions, photos and category labels show general styles. Colours, fabrics and details can look different because of screens, lighting and product updates.
  3. 2.3Details such as sizing, availability and any purchase arrangements are only confirmed in writing by us, usually by email. Anything we confirm in that correspondence takes priority over general wording on the Site.

Acceptable behaviour

  1. 3.1You agree not to use the Site in any way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights or interferes with the Site working properly.
  2. 3.2You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its hosting, introduce malicious code, overload the Site with automated requests or copy large parts of it by scraping.
  3. 3.3You must not send us unlawful, abusive or misleading material, or impersonate another person when you contact us.

Ownership of content

  1. 4.1The Site's text, layout, logo, graphics, photos and video belong to CampingTents or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. 4.2You may view the Site and print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use needs our written permission first.
  3. 4.3The CampingTents name and tent logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected with you without our written permission.

Outdoor safety

  1. 5.1Camping carries natural risks, including bad weather, rising water, falling branches, wildlife and fire. You are responsible for choosing a safe pitch and following campsite rules, land access rules and local fire restrictions.
  2. 5.2Pitching steps, field notes and buying guidance on the Site are general suggestions. They don't replace a manufacturer's instructions, local knowledge or your own judgement in the conditions you find.
  3. 5.3Never use open flames, stoves or fuel-burning heaters inside a tent or other enclosed shelter.

Accuracy and availability of the Site

  1. 6.1We try to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that it is complete, error-free or always available.
  2. 6.2We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Site, including tent listings, without notice.

Limits on our liability

  1. 7.1To the extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all implied warranties about it.
  2. 7.2To the extent permitted by law, CampingTents is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or enjoyment, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its general content.
  3. 7.3Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Your responsibility to us

  1. 8.1If you break these Terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, claims and losses we incur as a direct result, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

  1. 9.1These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
  2. 9.2Before starting formal proceedings, please email us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute can't be resolved that way, it will be heard by the courts with jurisdiction in the State of Michigan.
  3. 9.3If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.

Changes and contact

  1. 10.1We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows the current version. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the revised Terms.
